Meet Our Team
All our staff are committed to the welfare, safety, health and happiness of the children in their care and attend training which is on going to meet the requirements within the childcare sector. Most of our staff are trained in first aid, safeguarding and hold a food hygiene certificate which are all updated when required.
Heidi - Nursery Director
Heidi originally set up Bookworms Day Care as child care for her own twin girls after being unsuccessful in finding a suitable nursery within the local area. Heidi is a MND - Motor Neurone Disease specialist nurse but left that behind to put everything into the nursery.
Heidi works across all areas of the nursery.
Kylie - Bookworms Day Care Manager
Level: 5 - Kylie joined us in March 2013 and has over 20 years experience in working with children. She is Bookworms, Mental Health First aider, Fire Officer, Health & Safety Officer and Safeguarding Officer.
Chloe W - Level 3
Chloe joined us in February 2014 and has worked really hard to work herself upto Little Caterpillar's room leader and Deputy Manager. Chloe has the role of our communication lead and suppoorts all age groups.
Caron - Deputy Manager
Level: 3 - Caron joined us in February 2013 and has over 12 years experience of working with children, she is also our behaviour management coordinator.

- Alexia - Alexia is close to compleeting her leevl 3 apprentiship through us
- Colleen - Colleen has 15 years experience working in early years
Little Bears room (2-3 years)
- Madi - Room leader
- Lisa D - started at Bookworms in 2022 and has completed her level 3 early years qualification since starting
- Manda - Manda started with us in 2021
- Maisie A - Masise joined in in 2017 and has 8 years experience working in early years
Gruffalo's room (3-5 years)
- Caron - Room leader/Deputy
- Cody - Cody has 12 years experience in childcare
- Maisie T - Maisie has 15 years experience in childcare

All our staff are DBS cleared, paediactric first aid trained and have level 2 award in food safety and allergen awareness.
